Grants of up to $5000 (inclusive of GST) are available for eligible applications supporting community initiatives within the towns of Hillgrove, Metz and Armidale.

Local organisations are invited to apply for funding to support initiatives, projects and events that will provide positive outcomes to residents across a range of key categories including:

  • Arts, Culture and Sport
  • Economic Development
  • Education and Training
  • Empowering community members and leadership
  • Environment
  • Health, Safety and Wellbeing
  • Indigenous Capacity Building
  • Youth

Grant Funding

The Community Partnerships Program is open for applications twice per year, with Round 1 closing in April and Round 2 closing in October.

Eligible organisations are invited to apply for funding or partial funding to the maximum value of $5,000 (inclusive of GST) to help cover the costs associated with an eligible project, initiative, or event.

Successful applicants will receive an offer from Larvotto Resources to provide one or more of the following:

  • Project, or partial-project, funding to the maximum value of $5,000;
  • In-kind donation;
  • Material donation; and
  • Further discussions about project investment.

The period of funding for successful grant recipients will be determined on assessment.

Assessment of Applications

Applications will be first considered by Larvotto Resources’ Community Relations Team and recommendations made for review and approval by the Larvotto Resources Senior Leadership Team.

Awarding of CPP funding will be based on a range of factors, including:

  • Organisational eligibility
  • Project eligibility
  • Project outcomes
  • The project’s ability to benefit the community beyond the funding period
  • The number of applications received in the CPP funding round
  • The CPP funding round budget

Projects that provide the opportunity for community and Larvotto Resources employee engagement, or which provide an opportunity for company exposure, may be given additional favour in the assessment process.

Where a high number of applications for CPP funding are received, preference will be given to projects that are able to display greatest alignment with these Guidelines.
Projects that do not quality for CPP funding in Round 1 will be automatically included for consideration in Round 2 of that same year.
